I could tell you all the things I've been doing while I've been MIA.
Or I could just show you the craft projects I've been doing.
Like this one:
It now hangs in my new little office/study/the place toys seem to come to die.
I saw the idea to hang things in embroidery hoops somewhere on the net, and promptly stole it.
Check out this awesome display.
I'm aspiring to something of that magnitude.
And the best thing about these hangings is that I can stick them to the wall with blutac. One of the joys of renting is no hooks in the walls, so I'm always trying to find other ways to hang things. Certainly helps when the thing your hanging weighs less then my left foot.
The only other sewing thing that I've got on the burner is a half finished bolero that I had planned to have done for a friend's birthday back in April. I stupidly cut some of it out wrong so need to go back and get some more material. But do you think I've been back? Course not. That would be logical, something I'm lacking at the best of times. I'll get it done. Or it will loveingly end up in my pile of ''to be turned into something else material'' in the cupboard. A pile which grows far too rapidly.
